Overview
An organization focused on transforming venture capital is seeking a Legal Operations Associate to support the launch and maintenance of multiple venture capital firms globally. This role involves working closely with general partners (fund managers) on fund paperwork and operational matters, including formation, governance, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support the formation and ongoing governance needs of general partners and their funds across various domiciles
- Coordinate with legal partners to prepare fund formation and governance agreements
- Utilize and contribute to the development of a premier SaaS platform for venture capital firms
- Manage fund client accounts and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in legal or fund operations, including performing legal work under attorney supervision
- Strong professional presence on phone and videoconferencing platforms
- High digital literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Composure under high-stress situations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High emotional intelligence and intuition
- Proactive approach to addressing opportunities and challenges
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical mindset, especially regarding legal agreements

- 2+ years of experience in venture capital
