Overview
This contractor role is for a Legal Solutions Attorney supporting in-house legal customers in applying AI to everyday legal practice.
The position spans three areas:
- Building training and enablement content to help customers and internal GTM teams get up to speed
- Working hands-on with customers to solve real workflow problems
- Serving as a subject matter expert alongside sales
You will work directly with in-house legal teams to understand their workflows, translate that understanding into practical AI solutions, and contribute to shaping the product roadmap.
Responsibilities
AI Workflow Development
- Create prompts, playbooks, agents, and automations to address everyday challenges across contracting, counseling, and governance
- Develop sample workflows and documents, from intake through review and final agreement, showcasing the platform’s capabilities
- Curate a library of high-impact prompts, playbooks, and automations for practical, day-to-day value for prospects and customers
Customer Partnership
- Partner closely with in-house legal teams to understand workflows (including contract review and management, negotiation, counseling, and compliance) and design practical AI solutions
- Support customers post-launch alongside customer success, helping them get more value as their needs evolve
Training and Adoption
- Lead workshops and training sessions for customers and internal GTM teams to build confidence and drive adoption of AI in daily legal work
- Serve as a trusted face for in-house legal teams by bringing real expertise and empathy
Sharing Insights With Product
- Feed customer learnings back to Product and Engineering to ensure solutions align with legal teams’ needs
- Provide input on product planning and priorities, especially when rolling out new AI tools, agents, and automations
Using the Platform Internally
- Participate on the organization’s own legal team by using the platform day-to-day (as the first customer) to learn what works
- Convert internal learnings into improved guidance for prospects and customers
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience practicing law, including at least 1 year in-house, in legal ops, or in legal solutions supporting in-house teams
- Strong interest in AI: you’ve used it for legal work, implemented it on your team, and want to keep learning
- Proven ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply knowledge creatively
- Hands-on experience with legal tech tools (e.g., CLM, automation, or other legal software)
- Excellent client-facing skills: empathetic, proactive, able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to clearly explain and present complex ideas
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing or teaching training programs, workshops, or courses
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM-powered tools, or workflow automation
- Background in legal innovation, knowledge management, or legal tech adoption
- Strong community-building instincts, with an interest in connecting people and sharing knowledge
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: 60 - 80 USD per hour (Remote)
