Overview
This role manages physician licensure for new and existing physicians joining a teleradiology practice that uses AI-enabled workflows.
The position reports to the Senior Manager of Clinical Operations and works closely with the Credentialing and Licensing Team to collect and submit required documents, maintain sensitive information, and coordinate regularly with State Boards to support compliance.
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Manage licensing processes end-to-end
- Initiate, track, and communicate all licensing activities and associated expenses accurately and on time
- Ensure new physicians’ licensure applications are completed and in place by their planned start date
- Ensure current physicians maintain up-to-date licenses and meet other compliance needs across assigned customers and associated states
- Coordinate additional licensing and other compliance needs across additional customers in a timely manner to meet business requirements
- Communicate effectively with physicians and internal teams regarding licensing process status and next steps
- Work with a third-party licensing vendor to support timely licensing for all specialists
- Support physicians with state board licensure applications and completion of follow-up documentation
- Partner with Clinical Operations teams and stakeholders to support:
- A smooth and positive onboarding experience for new physician hires
- Clear and consistent communication with existing physicians
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with physician license applications; multi-state experience required (IMLC and State Boards)
- Prior contacts and relationships with state boards and the IMLC
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally articulate next steps to providers and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, and multi-tasking ability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with radiologists in a licensing capacity and in the healthcare space
- Understanding of credentialing and payor enrollments
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $31.25 - $36.06, plus benefits
- Note: The range is a guideline; individual total compensation varies based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
