Overview
An in-house counsel role is available for a life sciences attorney with a publicly traded company client. This position requires at least 2 years of legal experience handling complex pharmaceutical research and development agreements, including master services agreements, licenses, supply agreements, development and manufacturing agreements, and collaborative research agreements. The role involves drafting and negotiating complex contracts, advising on regulatory frameworks, and supporting growth-stage or established life sciences companies. Prior in-house experience within life sciences or biotech companies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support and advice on clinical, regulatory, and licensing matters
- Draft and negotiate complex pharmaceutical R&D agreements
- Advise on regulatory frameworks relevant to life sciences and healthcare
- Support innovative and growth-stage life sciences initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience in life sciences, healthcare, or FDA-regulated industries
- Experience working in the legal department of a major life sciences company or a sophisticated law firm
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
- Excellent academic credentials
- Outstanding professional references
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior in-house legal experience within life sciences or biotechnology companies

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $150,000 to $180,000, based on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
