Overview
An in-house counsel role is available for a life sciences attorney with a publicly traded company client. The position requires experience in pharmaceutical research and development agreements and related legal matters within the life sciences sector.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating complex pharmaceutical R&D agreements, including master services agreements, licenses, supply agreements, development and manufacturing agreements, and collaborative research agreements
- Providing legal support and advice on clinical, regulatory, and licensing matters
- Advising on regulatory frameworks relevant to life sciences and healthcare industries
- Supporting innovative, growth-stage, or established life sciences companies
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of legal experience in life sciences, healthcare, or FDA-regulated industries
- Experience working on complex pharmaceutical R&D agreements
- Prior experience in the legal department of a life sciences or biotech company or at a sophisticated law firm
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
- Excellent academic credentials
- Outstanding professional references

- Experience working in-house at a major life sciences company

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $150,000 to $180,000, based on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
