Overview
A life sciences attorney is sought for a long-term contract engagement with a publicly traded client in the pharmaceutical sector. This remote, full-time role involves providing legal expertise on complex pharmaceutical research and development agreements and related regulatory matters.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate complex agreements including master services agreements, licenses, supply agreements, development and manufacturing agreements, and collaborative research agreements
- Provide legal support and advice on clinical, regulatory, and licensing issues
- Support innovative, growth-stage, or established life sciences companies with legal guidance
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of legal experience in life sciences, healthcare, or FDA-regulated industries
- Experience working on complex pharmaceutical R&D agreements
- Prior experience in the legal department of a life sciences or biotech company, or at a sophisticated law firm
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
- Excellent academic credentials
- Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized pay range: $170,000 to $200,000 (full-time equivalent)
- Pay is determined by factors including experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market conditions, and candidate preference
- Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week
