Overview
A legal services organization is seeking a full-time Litigation Attorney to join their team remotely, with a preference for candidates located in or near Dallas for a hybrid work arrangement. This role involves managing civil litigation cases from inception through trial preparation.
Responsibilities
- Manage civil litigation cases including discovery, pleadings, depositions, and motions
- Handle cases from inception to trial (trial experience not required)
- Draft simple pleadings and declarations
- Assist with filing pleadings with the court
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Maintain a high case volume with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation
- Strong understanding of litigation and mass tort terminology
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction; strong preference for active and in-good-standing Texas license
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $60-65
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Indefinite duration
- Remote work with preference for Dallas hybrid
