Overview
A national law firm is seeking an attorney to join its Defense Litigation practice group, working remotely from California. This role involves representing national and international insurance clients in a variety of complex coverage areas including bad faith, professional liability, pollution, construction defect, personal and advertising injury, cyber liability, and excess liability.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation matters
- Handle a diverse and challenging caseload
- Work collaboratively with a team on complex coverage issues
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
Requirements
- Admission to the California bar in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience in both state and federal courts
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience in insurance coverage litigation preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $140,000 to $200,000 (applicable only to candidates performing work in California)
- Salary offers are based on internal equity, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications
