Overview
Experienced Litigation Attorney needed to support Florida civil litigation matters in a Florida-based (REMOTE) role.
This position involves handling foreclosure-related litigation, preparing and reviewing pleadings, appearing in court as needed, and working collaboratively with attorneys and staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution. Practical knowledge of navigating Florida courts is required.
Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation matters in Florida courts, including foreclosure-related litigation and other creditor-related disputes.
- Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, declarations, correspondence, and other litigation-related documents.
- Monitor case progress, evaluate legal and procedural issues, and develop practical strategies to move matters efficiently toward resolution.
- Appear in court as needed, attend hearings, communicate with clients and opposing counsel, and assist with case strategy.
Requirements
- Civil litigation experience, including drafting pleadings, motion practice, court appearances, case analysis, and client communication.
- Practical knowledge of Florida court procedures, local rules, filing requirements, hearing practice, and civil litigation workflows.
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- License to practice law in Florida required.

- Experience with creditors’ rights, including foreclosure, real estate, or related litigation.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to support effective case handling and timely matter resolution.
- Proficiency with legal technology, case management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other general office tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively through verbal, written, and electronic correspondence.
