Overview

Litigation Attorney (Fully Remote, Part-time)

This role provides interim litigation support for a surge of new matters in Texas. The work is expected to last 3–6 months, with approximately 10–20 hours per week. Matters include complex labor and employment issues, including harassment, discrimination, wage and hour matters.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing labor and employment litigation matters
  • Assist with basic case work up
  • Handle discovery and support deposition strategy and preparation
  • Conduct legal research
  • Draft and assist with motion practice
  • Contribute to litigation strategy and case development

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience handling labor and employment matters
  • Proficiency with discovery
  • Experience with deposition strategy and preparation
  • Experience researching and drafting motions
  • Excellent academic credentials and top-tier law firm experience
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
  • Contract pay is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (and how the candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate).
