Overview
A respected law firm serving Okaloosa County and Bay County, Florida, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney for a dynamic hybrid position. This role is primarily remote with occasional in-office presence required for client meetings or court appearances. The position can be full-time or part-time.
The firm provides robust technology support for remote work, including a firm-issued laptop, security measures, and technical assistance. A dedicated administrative team manages phone calls, scheduling, and case/conference coordination, allowing the attorney to focus on legal practice. Collaboration with skilled paralegals is integral to case management. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys who value autonomy in managing their caseload, prefer a flexible schedule, and are comfortable leveraging technology in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage civil litigation cases independently.
- Produce high-quality legal work and bill professional hours.
- Maintain efficient case progression.
- Present cases independently before a Judge in Florida state courts.
Requirements
- 5 to 10+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Courtroom experience with the ability to independently present cases.
- Ability to manage cases autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a hybrid work setting.
- Strong collaboration skills with paralegals and administrative teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Position available as part-time or full-time.
- Part-time defined as 800 billed hours per year; full-time as 1,500 billed hours per year.
