M&A and Commercial Transactions Attorney

Overview

A global commercial real estate services company is seeking an attorney with 8+ years of experience in complex M&A and commercial transactions for a 14–16 week remote engagement starting in early November.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents for complex M&A transactions
• Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements
• Advise the in-house team on deal structuring and negotiation strategy
• Coordinate with a second contract attorney on shared onboarding and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• 8+ years of legal experience
• Deep background in commercial structuring, drafting, and negotiation
• Demonstrated M&A experience in an active drafting and negotiation role (not review-only)
• Ability to work U.S. business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Large law firm training
• In-house legal experience
• Working in the Central or Eastern time zone

Compensation & Benefits

• $100 – $115 per hour (flexible based on experience)
• W-2 employment through a workforce solutions company for the duration of the engagement

• Remote
• Must work U.S. business hours; Central or Eastern time strongly preferred

Schedule & Duration

• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• 14–16 weeks, starting early November
