Overview

A law firm is seeking a Managing Attorney for its high-volume foreclosure practice based in Louisiana. This role involves client interaction and managing a substantial workload. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the firm’s foreclosure and litigation departments.
  • Supervise and work alongside paralegals and support staff, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to firm policies.
  • Monitor case progress and develop strategies to efficiently resolve files.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Louisiana with at least 8 years of bar admission.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in creditors’ rights, including real estate, foreclosure, and litigation.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant laws and extensive experience in creditors’ rights legal representation.
  • Working knowledge of civil procedure rules as they apply to foreclosure matters.
  • Familiarity with Federal and State consumer protection statutes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong professionalism and leadership skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and client development experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer and general office skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
