Overview
This role involves leading a pod within a corporate immigration legal practice specializing in extraordinary-ability and high-skilled visa matters, including EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A categories. The position focuses on senior-level case review, quality assurance, team leadership, and coaching rather than managing an independent caseload.
Responsibilities
- Lead a pod responsible for producing high-quality immigration casework and managing the attorneys within the pod.
- Conduct second-chair, senior-level review of cases before filing to ensure quality standards.
- Develop and coach consulting and production attorneys, setting performance standards and guiding complex decisions.
- Own pod-level quality and output, accountable for both volume and standard of work.
- Retain and motivate talent to foster growth, high performance, and long-term engagement.
- Set operational pace and model organizational values, promoting technology adoption, speed, and innovation in daily workflows.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to grow the brand, align pod culture and standards, and support talent acquisition and network-building efforts.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active U.S. bar admission.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with deep expertise in extraordinary-ability and high-skilled visa categories (EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1A), as well as broader business immigration (H-1B, L-1, PERM).
- Proven track record of leading and growing attorneys, managing teams, and being evaluated on team outcomes rather than individual docket.
- Strong judgment in case strategy and quality, with the ability to review work critically and provide constructive feedback.
- Comfortable working in a high-cadence, high-growth environment with accountability for pod throughput and quality.
- Proficiency and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools and technology as performance multipliers.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $185,000 - $235,000 USD (base compensation). Additional bonuses, equity, or other compensation components may apply.
- Compensation is determined by factors including candidate location, experience, education, skills, and role scope.
