Overview
An organization is seeking experienced marketing and advertising attorneys to work on assignment with leading corporations across various industries. This role involves structuring, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements supporting marketing, advertising, e-commerce, and social media initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review agreements related to advertising agencies, media commitments, public relations, brand partnerships, digital marketing, data analytics, talent appearances and performances, sales, production, music licenses, entertainment, promotional messages, contests and sweepstakes, TV and radio commercials, and general commercial agreements.
- Support marketing and advertising initiatives through comprehensive legal review and advice.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing marketing, advertising, and e-commerce agreements.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Outstanding professional references.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of residence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in the in-house legal department of a major corporation.
Position Details
- Role Type: Contract engagement.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized pay ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and candidate preference.
- Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20 or more hours per week.
- Benefits include complimentary Group Life, Long-Term Disability (LTD), and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance.
- A qualified 401(k) plan is available.
- Eligible attorneys receive a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Professional Expense stipend.
