Overview

A remote opportunity is available for experienced Marketing and Advertising Lawyers to collaborate with major companies across various industries. This role involves providing legal counsel on marketing content and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to advise on marketing content such as website posts, online campaigns, promotions, sweepstakes, and press releases.
  • Review and provide guidance on consumer-facing sales and marketing materials.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts including marketing agreements, sponsorship agreements, licensing agreements, and website development agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with trademark, copyright, consumer protection, and advertising laws.
  • Advise internal teams on compliance related to sales, marketing, and media campaigns for new products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing & Advertising law.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Experience managing complex projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Active bar license in the state of physical residence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working directly in-house and partnering with marketing teams.
  • Experience reviewing website content, online campaigns, promotions, sweepstakes, and press releases for legal compliance.
  • Proven ability to draft and negotiate a variety of marketing and advertising contracts.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated total compensation for full-time attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 annually.
  • Compensation for non-attorney roles ranges from $71,250 to $309,750 annually.
  • Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
  • Additional benefits may include health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities.
