Overview

A remote opportunity is available for experienced Marketing and Advertising Lawyers to collaborate with major companies across various industries. This role involves providing legal counsel on marketing and advertising matters to internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Advise marketing teams on content including website posts, online campaigns, promotions, sweepstakes, and press releases.
  • Review and provide guidance on consumer-facing sales and marketing materials.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts such as marketing agreements, sponsorship agreements, licensing agreements, and website development agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with trademark, copyright, consumer protection, and advertising laws.
  • Counsel internal teams on compliance related to sales, marketing, and media campaigns for new products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing & Advertising law.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
  • Experience managing complex legal projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Active bar license in the state of physical residence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior in-house experience working directly with marketing teams.
  • Experience reviewing website content, online campaigns, promotions, sweepstakes, and press releases for legal compliance.
  • Proven track record drafting and negotiating a variety of marketing and advertising contracts.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated total compensation for full-time attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 annually.
  • Compensation is determined by factors including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
  • Additional benefits may include health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities.
