Overview
A hospitality and leisure organization is seeking a Senior Attorney to provide interim legal support across its Marketing and Technology/IT functions during a significant digital and technology transformation.
This role involves close collaboration with senior business and legal leaders on a wide range of initiatives including digital and mobile consumer experiences, e-commerce, branding and marketing strategy, enterprise technology, technology contracting, AI considerations, and related privacy issues. The position is highly counseling-oriented, requiring the ability to independently advise senior stakeholders, identify legal issues, assess risk, and facilitate strategic initiatives while also managing agreements as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to Marketing and Technology/IT teams during digital transformation projects
- Advise on matters related to digital/mobile consumer experiences, e-commerce, branding, and marketing strategy
- Support enterprise technology initiatives including technology contracting and AI-related legal considerations
- Address privacy issues connected to technology and marketing activities
- Collaborate with senior business and legal leaders to identify and mitigate risks
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements as necessary
Requirements
- Strong in-house legal experience supporting both Marketing and Technology/IT matters
- Experience in a direct-to-consumer environment preferred
- Background in hospitality, travel, leisure, or retail sectors is highly valuable
- Ability to work independently and provide strategic legal advice
- Availability to work 40 hours per week during Mountain Time hours
- Immediate availability for a 3-4 month interim assignment
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate between $110 and $115, commensurate with qualifications, skillset, relevant experience, client needs, and project requirements
