Overview
This role is for a Maryland-barred Litigation Attorney to support a national defense law firm with offices near Baltimore, MD. The engagement is fully remote and involves assisting with civil defense matters.
Responsibilities
- Handle civil defense litigation matters from a remote contract engagement
- Provide excellent written and oral advocacy throughout case matters
- Contribute effectively in a fast-paced, professional law firm environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of civil litigation experience
- Licensed to practice and in good standing in Maryland
- J.D. from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: Salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
- Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect competitiveness for the position).
