Overview
A national law firm is seeking a mid-level Attorney to join the Defense Litigation Practice Group in the Schererville (Northwest Indiana) office. This position is also open to qualified remote candidates residing in Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse and challenging caseload independently
- Handle multiple matters efficiently while maintaining high-quality work
- Draft complex motions, opinions, and pleadings
- Collaborate with a high-performing team
Requirements
- Active admission to the Indiana bar in good standing
- Seven or more years of defense litigation experience, including general liability matters (product liability, construction defect, premises liability, vehicle liability), Dram Shop liability, and professional liability matters (medical malpractice, legal malpractice, errors and omissions)
- Demonstrated ability to manage a rigorous caseload independently
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Sound judgment and client-service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience drafting complex legal documents
