Overview
A law firm with a national presence and nearly 250 attorneys across California, Oregon, and Washington, D.C., is seeking a real estate attorney with a strong interest in public sector work. The firm focuses on providing effective legal solutions to complex issues faced by public agencies, businesses, and individuals.
Responsibilities
- Advise public entities such as cities, counties, special districts, and other public agencies on real estate matters
- Handle property transactions, development projects, land use, leasing, acquisitions, and related real estate issues
- Work on transactions including acquisitions, sales, leases, and development agreements
- Provide guidance on land use, zoning, and CEQA/NEPA compliance
- Draft and negotiate legal documents
- Collaborate closely with public officials and staff
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Located in California
- 5 to 8 years of experience in real estate, municipal, or land use law
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Compensation
- Salary range: $137,000 - $195,000 for candidates with 5 or more years of experience
- Actual salary depends on years of practice and experience
