Responsibilities

• Handle inbound video chat inquiries from app users in New York related to potential traffic violations, criminal defense, immigration, or personal injury matters
• Conduct initial consultations within the attorney's local jurisdiction
• Provide calm, clear issue-spotting and next-step guidance
• Represent the service positively within New York's legal community
• Support local business initiatives as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, or Immigration law
• Criminal law background is essential
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York (required)
• Active malpractice insurance or willingness to obtain prior to onboarding
• Strong communication skills and comfort with video interactions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a passion for helping people

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-state licensure preferred
• Openness to obtaining additional licenses is optional
