Overview

A national law firm with multiple locations across the United States is seeking a No-Fault Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Attorney with a minimum of two years of experience, preferably with New York No-Fault PIP law. This position is part of a virtual office and primarily involves handling legal issues related to PIP claims.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze medical records, bills, fee disputes, priority of payment, coverage exhaustion, and other legal matters related to PIP claims
  • Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery requests, motions for summary judgment, and other dispositive motions
  • Appear at arbitrations, court conferences, and hearings as necessary
  • Collaborate primarily with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit

Requirements

  • Active New York bar license
  • Residence in or around New York City to attend necessary legal proceedings
  • Minimum of two years of experience with New York No-Fault PIP law preferred
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Exceptional judgment and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action effectively

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $145,000 - $155,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience
