Overview
This role is a permanent, full-time Defense Litigation Attorney position for a NY-licensed attorney. The position is fully remote.
The attorney will handle general litigation matters for a defense-focused caseload, with required experience in premises liability matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage a general litigation caseload
- Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
- Handle court appearances, depositions, and examinations under oath
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Requirements
- 5+ years of general litigation defense experience; experience with premises liability matters is required
- Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Superior written and oral advocacy skills
- Licensed to practice and in good standing in New York
- J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
- Outstanding references

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: Salary range of $125,000 - $160,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
