Paralegal

Overview

A research organization is seeking experienced Paralegal Experts to contribute to the development and refinement of legal support challenges used for training artificial intelligence models. This remote and flexible role involves designing and evaluating legal research and document preparation scenarios that test AI's ability to interpret and apply complex legal procedures. The goal is to ensure AI models can effectively handle real-world legal research, case management, and litigation support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality paralegal questions and case studies covering topics such as legal research, citation formats, document drafting, discovery management, trial preparation, client communication, and case file organization.
• Evaluate and validate AI model responses, providing detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and compliance with paralegal best practices and legal standards.
• Collaborate with legal and technical experts to adjust question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies, or a bachelor's degree with paralegal certification.
• Proven experience as a paralegal with strong knowledge of legal research, document preparation, and case management.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple years of paralegal experience across diverse practice areas such as litigation, corporate, real estate, or family law.
• Experience with legal technology projects, legal training programs, or process improvement initiatives.
• Advanced paralegal certifications (e.g., CP, ACP, RP) or specialized legal training.
• Familiarity with AI or technology-driven legal applications.
