Overview
A law firm is seeking an experienced remote Paralegal to join their team, specializing in plaintiff employment and personal injury cases. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting attorneys with a variety of legal tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal assistance to attorneys, including research, drafting legal documents, and preparing pleadings.
- Manage complex legal documentation ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
- Maintain professional client interactions with confidentiality and strong interpersonal skills.
- Assist in personal injury case preparation, evidence gathering, and liaising with relevant parties.
- Represent plaintiffs in various legal matters to protect their rights and interests.
- Support labor and employment issues by advising on employment laws and assisting in dispute resolution.
- Coordinate communication among attorneys, clients, and court personnel to ensure smooth case progression.
- Organize and maintain files, track deadlines, and manage case schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced law firm.
- Proven expertise in legal assistance, documentation, client interaction, personal injury, plaintiff representation, and labor and employment law.
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent legal qualification.
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools, legal terminology, and document management systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to client service.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with legal software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
