Overview
This role provides legal support within the US Sales Contracting organization, focusing on medical device and technology sales and marketing programs, commercial sales agreements, and other commercial contracts. The position reports to a Paralegal Manager and is remote to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal assistance related to medical device and technology sales and marketing programs and commercial sales agreements.
- Assist in reviewing, editing, and negotiating commercial contracts and related documents.
- Collaborate with attorneys, pricing and contracting analysts, contract managers, and customers to finalize contract negotiations.
- Process legal requests promptly in accordance with contracting standards and best practices.
- Work with other legal teams, functional leaders, and operating units to improve and harmonize contracting processes and systems.
- Triage issues presented to the US Sales Contracting organization, meet with internal contracting and business clients, and provide direction or escalation as needed.
- Partner with subject matter experts across a global, matrixed organization.
- Conduct research on projects as directed by attorneys or other paralegals.
- Review and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist internally in analyzing documents.
- Participate in other projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate, or an advanced degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of paralegal or legal experience.
- High degree of self-motivation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with appropriate prioritization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with and influencing all levels of leadership and executive management.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, modifying, and negotiating various agreement types.
- Experience with commercial contracts.
- For degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico and certain California locations): $70,400.00 - $105,600.00 USD.
- Eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.
