Paralegal with a passion for customer service (LegalTech)

Overview

This Paralegal role sits within the Customer Success team, combining legal drafting and review with direct customer communication and technical support in a LegalTech environment. The work supports customers in achieving their outcomes using the organization’s product or service, while helping maintain customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

Legal drafting / review

• Draft legal language for written agreements based on customer requirements.
• Prepare required documents that are reviewed by a manager before being shared with clients.
• Conduct legal research and provide support on legal matters as needed.

Customer service

• Handle requests from users and leads, including questions about services and how to manage their account.
• Ensure requests are handled quickly and correctly in a full service model.

Tech setup support

• Support customers in setting up connections between their source code management platform.
• Ensure setup is administered correctly on the organization’s side.

Sales support

• Work with leads who have questions at the early stage of engagement.
• Provide guidance about services via email and website chat.

Report drafting

• For customers requiring inspection of information they provide, draft reports and return them to customers.

Requirements

• Familiarity with LegalTech concepts (extensive legal or technical experience is not expected).
• Analytical thinking and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Proficiency with modern web tools such as Google Docs and similar platforms.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable adapting and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer success or a similar role.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Exposure to working with diverse companies across different sizes and industries.
