Overview

A national law firm is seeking experienced attorneys to join as Partners in its Texas Commercial Litigation group. This role offers meaningful autonomy, flexibility, and long-term growth potential without the structural constraints of traditional large-firm models. Partners practice at a high level, serve sophisticated clients, and collaborate with peers across the country while maintaining control over how and where they work.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Partner in the Texas Commercial Litigation group
  • Handle broad form commercial litigation matters
  • Provide insurance defense and trial experience
  • Develop and support client relationships
  • Work independently in a distributed environment
  • Appear in court or before agencies in Texas as required

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree
  • 5–7+ years of practice experience
  • Background at an AmLaw 100/200 firm, respected regional firm, or sophisticated boutique
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas
  • Demonstrated ability to develop or support client relationships
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
  • Experience in insurance defense and trial work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at AmLaw firms, respected regional firms, boutiques, in-house roles, or government positions
  • Self-starter with strong ownership mentality
