Overview
A healthcare law boutique specializing in the intersection of healthcare, technology, and regulation is seeking a Partner to join its growing healthcare regulatory practice. The firm supports clients across digital health, telemedicine, healthcare AI, FDA-regulated technology, interoperability, and traditional healthcare settings. This fully remote role offers significant autonomy, the opportunity to build and manage a portable book of business, and a chance to influence firm strategy and growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and advise clients on federal and state healthcare regulatory matters
- Bring and grow a portable book of business
- Develop long-term client relationships
- Contribute to firm growth through business development and strategic partnership
- Collaborate with a small, senior team of attorneys and a legal operations team
- Build, experiment with, and adopt AI-enabled workflows (no engineering background required)
- Expand expertise into emerging areas such as healthcare AI, interoperability, and FDA-regulated technology
Requirements
- Partner-level healthcare attorney with the ability to manage clients and work independently
- Portable book of business of $500,000+ annually (structure scales with business brought; equity participation available)
- Deep experience in healthcare law and ideally technology operating within or alongside healthcare
- Proven ability to generate and grow client relationships
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- U.S.-based and fully remote
- Willingness to travel 3 to 4 times annually for team gatherings and additional travel for conferences or business development

- Ability to operate autonomously in a remote, evolving environment
- Collaborative and open-minded approach to working with others
