Overview
A nationally scaling personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their fully remote team. The firm focuses on delivering exceptional client experiences from marketing and intake through litigation, emphasizing strategy, speed, and execution to drive growth and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate personal injury claims by reviewing records, documents, and evidence to determine liability and potential value
- Represent clients in personal injury matters, including filing claims, gathering evidence, preparing demand letters, negotiating settlements, and advocating for clients
- Develop and implement legal strategies to protect clients’ rights and interests
- Conduct legal research, analyze medical records, and negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable settlements
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates and advising on legal processes and options
- Collaborate with medical and vocational experts to assess injury impact and treatment needs
- Manage case files, track deadlines, coordinate with medical providers and experts, and oversee related legal and administrative tasks
- Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable rules and regulations
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the North Carolina Bar
- 5 to 10 years of experience in personal injury law
- Strong communication, negotiation, research, and writing skills
- Ability to manage a robust caseload independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of North Carolina laws, regulations, and procedures
- Must be located in or near the State of North Carolina
- Critical thinking, effective prioritization, and ability to execute with speed
Preferred Qualifications
- Active admission to one or more districts of the North Carolina Federal Court
- Experience in a fast-growing or high-volume environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving systems
- Experience in legal, professional services, or client-centric organizations
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $115,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience
- Eligibility for performance-based bonus
