Overview
A rapidly growing national personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team at a formative stage. Responsibilities
- Evaluate personal injury cases by reviewing records, documents, and evidence to assess validity and potential value
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, and appeals; prepare and file legal documents; advocate before courts and agencies
- Develop and implement legal strategies to protect clients’ rights, including conducting research, analyzing medical records, gathering evidence, and negotiating settlements
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates and legal guidance
- Collaborate with medical and vocational experts to assess injury impact and appropriate compensation
- Manage case files, track deadlines, coordinate with medical providers and experts, and oversee related legal and administrative tasks
- Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable rules and regulations

Success Metrics (First 6–12 Months)
- Independently manage a robust pre-litigation caseload from intake through resolution with high quality
- Consistently maximize case value through evaluation, strategic guidance, and negotiation
- Identify and recommend timely escalation of cases to litigation
- Collaborate with case managers to ensure performance metrics and deadlines are met
- Review and approve demand packages for accuracy and strong negotiation positioning
- Ensure timely coordination with medical records teams
- Maintain proactive, clear communication with clients
- Identify and address issues early to prevent bottlenecks
- Build strong cases capable of proceeding to litigation and trial if necessary
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the Tennessee Bar
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Personal Injury law
- Strong communication, negotiation, research, and writing skills
- Ability to manage a substantial caseload independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Tennessee laws, regulations, and procedures
- Must be located in or near the State of Tennessee
- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and execution skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Active admission to one or more districts of the Tennessee Federal Court
- Experience in a fast-growing or high-volume legal environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving systems
- Experience in legal, professional services, or client-centric organizations
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 USD per year
- Remote work option within Tennessee
