Pre-Litigation Attorney

A legal team is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney to manage pre-suit personal injury cases with a focus on negotiation and settlement strategies. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive attorney who can handle a substantial caseload while collaborating closely with case managers to improve process efficiency. Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 600 pre-litigation personal injury cases in collaboration with case managers
• Negotiate settlements and maintain effective communication with clients
• Streamline the pre-litigation process to enhance operational efficiency
• Handle statutory liens and treating physician liens
• Support case management efforts through close teamwork

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law
• Required experience in plaintiff pre-suit personal injury cases
• Proven skills in negotiation and settlement
• Strong organizational abilities
• Experience managing statutory liens and treating physician liens
• Must be barred to practice law in California
• Spanish language proficiency is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $125,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience
• 401(k) plan with matching contributions
• Vacation accrual beginning after 90 days of employment
• Standard paid holidays plus additional time off during the holiday season
