Overview
This role is an opportunity for an experienced Privacy Attorney or Senior Privacy Professional to provide hands-on support for a privacy function during an important transition.
Responsibilities will initially focus on keeping a high-volume privacy program running smoothly. As the engagement progresses, additional work will include evaluating current processes and supporting future privacy program needs.
- Engagement start: ASAP
- Duration: Initial three months with opportunity to extend
- Schedule: 40 hours/week
- Work location: Fully remote
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain a high-volume privacy program, including:
- Privacy impact assessments
- Data deletion and records requests
- Data mapping
- International privacy considerations
- Conduct a privacy program gap analysis
- Help assess future needs of the privacy program
- Provide pragmatic, business-friendly privacy guidance that balances risk with commercial needs
- Operate independently and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to build buy-in
Requirements
- Strong consumer health and B2C privacy experience
- Familiarity with state consumer health laws
- Familiarity with global privacy frameworks, including GDPR
- Hands-on experience with OneTrust, Jira, and Confluence
- Comfortable working independently and taking on operational, hands-on tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting privacy programs through transition or program changes
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate expected between $100 and $120
- Rate range is an estimate; compensation will be based on qualifications, skills, experience, client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law
