Overview
A national law firm is seeking experienced attorneys to join as Partners in its Litigation group, with a focus on Privacy Tech Errors & Omissions (E&O) litigation. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for those located in California.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in complex litigation involving data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology E&O.
- Handle regulatory investigations and advise clients on risk mitigation strategies related to privacy and technology law.
- Collaborate with peers across the country while maintaining autonomy over work location and schedule.
- Appear in court or before agencies in licensed jurisdictions as required.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree.
- Senior-level experience with privacy laws, technology transactions, cybersecurity incidents, and professional liability.
- Strong litigation background with experience in regulatory investigations.
- Prior experience at AmLaw 200, Law360 400, respected regional, or sophisticated boutique firms, with at least 7 years post-qualification.
- Portable book of business of $350,000 preferred but not required.
- Ability to appear in court or before agencies in licensed jurisdictions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation follows a performance-based "Eat What You Kill" model:
- 30% of collected fees on matters originated by the Partner.
- 50% of collected fees attributable to the Partner’s personal time worked.
- No cap on earning potential.
- Estimated annual compensation range: $150,000 to $2,500,000+, depending on individual performance and practice economics.
- Partners may elect from tiered benefit options, which may include group insurance programs, retirement savings options, professional liability coverage, and operational and administrative support.
- Benefit details vary by tier and location and are governed by the partnership agreement.

- Remote-first position open to any U.S. location, with preference for California.
