Overview

A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking experienced litigation attorneys to join its Rhode Island office within the product liability practice group. While a minimum of three years of litigation experience is preferred, candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will be a team player possessing excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills, a strong academic background, and the ability to manage a large caseload including high exposure cases nationwide. Preference will be given to those with deposition, oral argument, and mediation experience. Trial experience is preferred but not required.

Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a diverse and substantial caseload in product liability litigation
  • Participate in depositions, oral arguments, and mediations
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across various offices
  • Manage high exposure cases on a national scale

Requirements

  • Admission to practice law in Rhode Island
  • Minimum of three years of litigation experience preferred
  • Strong litigation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage a large caseload independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with depositions, oral arguments, and mediations
  • Trial experience
  • Strong academic credentials

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranges:
    • Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
    • Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5+ years): $140,000–$215,000
    • Partners (approximately 7+ years): $190,000–$275,000+
  • Actual compensation is individualized based on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market
