Overview

A national creditor rights law firm specializing in debt collection and litigation is seeking a Production Attorney to join their team in Tempe, Arizona. The firm represents lenders in consumer and commercial recovery efforts and litigation across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Review, approve, file, or reject legal pleadings, motions, defaults, garnishments, discovery, and other litigation documents
  • Review case files, dockets, and pleadings to determine appropriate legal actions
  • Use proprietary software to update and document case status
  • Meet or exceed production expectations in a high-volume environment
  • Comply with client and firm standard operating procedures
  • Evaluate case merits, assess risk, and provide strategic legal recommendations
  • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and court procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Admission to practice law in the state of Arizona
  • Multiple state bar licenses or willingness to obtain additional licenses (e.g., Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with eagerness to learn
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Ability to operate computer, phone, or equivalent device
  • Ability to complete a minimum 40-hour flexible workweek
  • Ability to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year litigation or trial experience
  • Working knowledge of civil procedure
  • Debt collection experience
  • Prior experience in a high-volume legal environment

Remote Work Requirements

  • Private home workspace free from interruptions
  • Stable internet service with minimum 5 Mbps speed or broadband cable access
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security
  • Availability during business hours
  • Compliance with the firm’s remote working policy

Physical Qualifications

  • Ability to lift five pounds or more
  • Ability to sit for approximately 90% of the workday
  • Ability to bend at the waist and be mobile as needed
  • Ability to concentrate and use critical thinking skills
