Overview
The organization is seeking an attorney with 5+ years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience to support a knowledge management team at an AmLaw 100 law firm client during the implementation of a firm-wide AI platform. In this role, the attorney will serve as a real estate subject matter expert, using platform training and their real estate background to guide attorneys on effective use of the AI platform.
This is a flexible, multi-month contract engagement with remote work available from any location in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Become deeply proficient in the AI platform’s capabilities relevant to real estate.
- Guide attorneys in applying AI-enabled solutions to real estate transaction workflows.
- Collaborate on platform optimization and ongoing improvements.
- Serve as a trusted internal resource by answering substantive and practical questions related to real estate and AI-enabled approaches.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial real estate experience, preferably at a mid-to-large size law firm.
- Licensed attorney in good standing in the state of residence.
- Outstanding references.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience handling commercial real estate transactions at a mid-to-large size law firm.
- Hands-on experience using AI legal platforms such as CoCounsel, Harvey, and/or Protégé.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $180,000 to $200,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis.
- Compensation factors: Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference.
