Overview

A global telecom and renewables infrastructure investment firm is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to support its expanding portfolio of mission-critical wireless, telecom transmission, and renewable power generation assets. The firm owns over 2,200 sites and facilities across the United States and Europe, with capital primarily provided by a major Paris-based asset manager. This role involves working remotely and collaborating with senior management, origination, pricing, and property management teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to support the origination and closing of real estate assets within the United States.
  • Manage a pipeline of deals across the U.S., facilitating communication between pricing, origination, legal, and management teams.
  • Negotiate and draft documents related to commercial real estate transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and underwrite assets considering lease terms, projected cash flow, and facility information.
  • Provide legal advice on strategic transactions and commercial matters.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 4-8 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, preferably at a mid to large-sized law firm.
  • Experience with solar/wind ground leases and/or wireless leases is a plus.
  • Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.
  • Proficiency with technology and ability to work remotely.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary plus variable compensation through a quarterly legal team bonus.
