Overview

A global telecom and renewables infrastructure investment firm founded in 2003 is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to support its expanding portfolio of mission-critical wireless, telecom transmission, and renewable power generation assets. The firm owns over 2,200 sites and facilities across the United States and Europe, including Italy, Spain, France, Germany, and Poland. Capital is primarily provided by a major Paris-based asset manager with $200 billion in assets under management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to support the origination and closing of real estate assets within the United States.
  • Manage a pipeline of deals across the U.S., facilitating communication between pricing, origination, legal, and management teams.
  • Negotiate and draft documents related to commercial real estate transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and underwrite assets considering lease terms, projected cash flow, and facility information.
  • Provide legal advice on strategic transactions and commercial matters.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 4-8 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, including experience at mid to large-sized law firms.
  • Experience with solar/wind ground leases and/or wireless leases is a plus.
  • Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.
  • Proficiency with technology and ability to work remotely.
