Overview

This role involves applying senior regulatory and compliance expertise to assist in training advanced AI systems. The position requires creating, reviewing, and improving realistic legal and compliance tasks, identifying regulatory risks, and ensuring outputs are accurate, relevant, and practical.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions related to regulatory interpretation, compliance programs, policies, controls, monitoring, risk assessments, training, and regulatory reporting.
  • Review and calibrate work for legal accuracy, practical usefulness, and consistent quality.
  • Identify genuine edge cases and ambiguities and contribute to refining evaluation standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory law, compliance, risk management, or related legal advisory roles.
  • Juris Doctor, law degree, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong ability to interpret laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and internal policies, and translate them into practical business requirements.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or improving compliance programs. Credentials such as CCEP or CAMS are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, or quality assurance is helpful but not required.

Engagement and Selection

  • The project duration is approximately nine weeks.
  • Availability for at least four hours per day with some overlap with Pacific Time is required.
  • There may be an option to work up to 40 hours per week depending on project needs and interest; however, weekly hours are not guaranteed.
  • Selection involves a job interest form, role assessment, and onboarding for selected candidates.

Compensation

  • $70 USD per hour.
