Overview

A legal firm is seeking a remote Family Law Attorney to join their team, focusing on cases across Texas with an emphasis on Houston. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $130,000 per year and reports to Kimberly Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Manage family law cases from initiation through resolution.
  • Provide excellent client service, including monthly status reports and weekly case reviews.
  • Recommend improvements to practice managers.
  • Track performance metrics related to accomplishments and client satisfaction using practice quality software.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years practicing family law in Texas; 7+ years preferred.
  • Valid Texas bar license held for at least 2 years.
  • Strong research and legal writing skills.
  • Passion for courtroom advocacy, including hearings, mediations, and consultations.
  • Highly organized, energetic, and motivated.
  • Proficiency with TxDoc and Clio or similar drafting/client management software, as well as MS Office or Google Suite.
  • Experience drafting correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid legal environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000 - $130,000 annually, based on experience.
