Remote Family Law Paralegal

Overview

A growing family law firm is seeking an experienced Remote Family Law Paralegal based in Texas to support its expanding operations across the state. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a dynamic legal team focused on family law matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings
• Prepare discovery documents
• File documents with the court
• Prepare trial exhibits
• Manage calendaring of meetings and appointments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of direct family law experience in Texas; 7+ years and board certification preferred
• Associate’s degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies, or Bachelor’s degree in a related field; alternatively, 7+ years of relevant Texas experience
• Residency in Texas
• Excellent typing skills and computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office or Google Suite
• Experience with Clio and TxDoc or similar legal software
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional demeanor and positive communication style
• Reliable hard-wired internet connection
• Dedicated, distraction-free workspace suitable for confidential legal work
• Willingness to attend local office as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $40,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience
• Remote work environment
