A partner organization is seeking a Senior Underwriting Counsel to provide underwriting support and guidance on real estate closings. This remote role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to streamline processes and enhance collaboration, ensuring operational excellence across the network. Responsibilities
- Provide underwriting support and guidance on real estate transactions and title insurance matters.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers to support business development.
- Deliver educational presentations at seminars and webinars.
- Assist with audits and compliance activities as needed.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-approved law school.
- Licensed attorney in good standing in the relevant state.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in title insurance or real estate.
- Knowledge of title insurance rates and state-specific regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing and delivering educational content.
- Ability to develop and support new customer relationships.
- Must be located in or near the jurisdiction relevant to the role.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
