Overview
This role is within the organization’s Products Liability Practice Group, which defends product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers as trial and global coordinating counsel in product liability and toxic tort cases.
The group supports clients across cutting-edge industries, including AI/robotics, automotive and autonomous vehicles, consumer products, food and wine, connected products, medical devices, pharmaceutical, retail and cosmetics, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Manage product liability and toxic tort matters with a high degree of autonomy
- Draft briefs and correspondence
- Respond to written discovery
- Manage document collection, review, and production
- Apply causation and/or failure analysis in case work
- Work on multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings
Requirements
- Products Liability or Commercial Litigation experience (required)
- At least 6+ years of experience
- Active member of the bar in the state in which you reside and in a state in which the organization has an office, or eligible to waive into one of those states
- Strong case management skills, work ethic, and team-oriented attitude
- Excellent client service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Willing to work on west coast time if not located in the west coast region of the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits
- Reduced schedule requirement: 1,400 hours
- Annual salary (all posted locations): $150,000
