Overview
This role is within the organization’s Products Liability Practice Group, which defends product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers as trial and global coordinating counsel in product liability and toxic tort matters. Clients span cutting-edge industries, including AI/robotics, automotive and autonomous vehicles, consumer products, food and wine, connected products, medical devices, pharmaceutical, retail and cosmetics, and technology.
The position is a reduced-schedule, remote, non-partnership track opportunity requiring 1,400 hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage cases with a high degree of autonomy
- Draft briefs and correspondence
- Respond to written discovery
- Manage document collection, review, and production
- Apply skills related to causation and/or failure analysis
- Support litigation activities in products liability and toxic tort matters, including Multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings
- Provide excellent client service
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of experience
- Experience in Products Liability or Commercial Litigation (required)
- Strong case management skills and work ethic with a team-oriented attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Active member of the bar in the state in which you reside and in a state in which the organization has an office, or eligible to waive into one of those states
- Willing to work on west coast time if not located in the west coast region of the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $150,000 (for all posted locations)
