Overview
The organization seeks an experienced attorney to join its Products Liability practice group. This is a remote, reduced schedule, non-partnership track role.
Responsibilities
- Defend product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers as trial and global coordinating counsel in product liability and toxic tort cases.
- Manage cases with a high degree of autonomy.
- Draft briefs, correspondence, and respond to written discovery.
- Manage document collection, review, and production.
- Work on issues related to causation and/or failure analysis.
- Handle multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings.
- Provide excellent client service and maintain strong written and oral communication.
Requirements
- Products Liability or Commercial Litigation experience (required).
- At least 6+ years of experience.
- Seeking a reduced schedule (1,400 hours).
- Strong case management skills, work ethic, and team-oriented attitude.
- Active member of the bar in the state in which you reside and in a state in which the organization has an office or is eligible to waive into one of those states.
- Willing to work on west coast time if not located in the west coast region of the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary (for all locations where this position is posted): $150,000.
- Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus.
