Overview
This organization seeks an attorney for a reduced schedule, remote, non-partnership track position within the Products Liability Practice Group.
The role involves defending product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers as trial and global coordinating counsel in product liability and toxic tort matters. Clients span cutting-edge industries including AI/robotics, automotive and autonomous vehicles, consumer products, food and wine, connected products, medical devices, pharmaceutical, retail and cosmetics, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Manage product liability and toxic tort cases with a high degree of autonomy
- Draft briefs and correspondence
- Respond to written discovery
- Manage document collection, review, and production
- Support causation and/or failure analysis
- Work on multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings
- Provide excellent client service
- Deliver strong written and oral communication with clients and case teams
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of experience
- Reduced schedule (1,400 hours)
- Products Liability or Commercial Litigation (required)
- Strong case management skills and work ethic
- Team-oriented attitude
- Excellent client service skills
- Active member of the bar in the state in which you reside and in a state in which the organization has an office or are eligible to waive into one of those states
- Willing to work on west coast time if not located in the west coast region of the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience involving causation and/or failure analysis
- Experience in multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $150,000 (for all locations where this position is posted)
