Overview
This role is part of the organization’s Products Liability Practice Group. The practice defends product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers as trial and global coordinating counsel in product liability and toxic tort cases.
Clients support cutting-edge industries, including AI/robotics, automotive and autonomous vehicles, consumer products, food and wine, connected products, medical devices, pharmaceutical, retail and cosmetics, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Manage products liability and/or commercial litigation matters with a high degree of autonomy
- Draft briefs and correspondence
- Respond to written discovery
- Manage document collection, review, and production
- Support case work involving causation and/or failure analysis
- Handle multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings
- Provide strong written and oral communication to support client service
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of experience
- Seeking a reduced schedule (1,400 hours)
- Non-partnership track position
- Products Liability or Commercial Litigation experience (required)
- Strong case management skills and work ethic
- Team-oriented attitude and excellent client service skills
- Active member of the bar in the state in which you reside and in a state in which an office exists, or eligible to waive into one of those states
- Willing to work on west coast time if not located in the west coast region of the U.S.
