Overview

This role is with the organization’s Products Liability practice group. The practice defends product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers as trial and global coordinating counsel in product liability and toxic tort cases.

Responsibilities

  • Defend and manage products liability and related matters with a high degree of autonomy
  • Draft briefs and correspondence
  • Respond to written discovery
  • Manage document collection, review, and production
  • Support causation and/or failure analysis
  • Work on matters involving multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings
  • Provide excellent client service throughout case matters

Requirements

  • Products Liability or Commercial Litigation experience (required)
  • At least 6+ years of experience
  • Reduced schedule position targeting 1,400 hours
  • Strong case management skills and work ethic
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Active member of the bar in the state in which you reside and in a state in which the organization has an office or are eligible to waive into one of those states
  • Willing to work on west coast time if not located in the west coast region of the U.S.
  • Remote work arrangement
  • Non-partnership track position
